Try something new. Make a futurisic ceramic animal, design your own jewelry or make a pot.

Have a go on the potter’s wheel and hand-make a pot.  Learn how to form the clay in your hands and see the shape grow before your eyes.  Design and make a container using pinching and coiling methods.  With modelling tools, learn how to make a series of textures in the clay and use slips to colour the piece.  Take it away on the day or have it fired in the kiln and collect later.

Courses are run at the New Brewery Arts centre and individual events can be booked by prior arrangement.
