When she moved to Monmouth in 1998 she specialised in raku lighting, gaining a grant to design and fire a new type of S shaped wood fired kiln. She exported lighting made from a series of individually thrown sphere shapes and stacked up onto a wooden base. |
Since her appointment as ceramicist in residence at New Brewery Arts she is using porcelain clay for figures, lidded jars and handled bowls. She is also using high-fired stoneware to make a range of planters and lights for use inside and out. |
